Collection: Ahmad Jamal's Dream

The painting is titled 'Ahmad Jamal's Dream,' which was inspired by Ahmad Jamal, the
world-renowned jazz musician born in Pittsburgh. He once stated, 'Pittsburgh
meant everything to me, and it still does,' in 2001.

My artwork pays
homage to both Ahmad Jamal and the rich jazz history of the Lower Hill. It
incorporates painted and physical images from the article, as well as
additional pictures from the Allegheny Conference on Community Development
Photographs. In the painting, there's also a snippet of sheet music blended
into the street from Ahmad Jamal's famous piece, 'Poinciana.'
